Fixed Facilities Supervisor: San Juan, Puerto Rico

SUMMARY

We would like to announce two position openings for Fixed Facilities Supervisor.

The Fixed Facilities Supervisor has full responsibility for the coordination and execution of the maintenance services in accordance with the Fixed Facilities Maintenance Plan. Supervisor will coordinates activities of the Fixed Facilities department, assuring that work is performed in accordance to contract terms. The Supervisor will be responsible for the coordination, scheduling, assignment and direct supervision of first line maintenance handyman employees.

To apply you must posses the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, Engineering / Project Management desirable. A combination of extended work experience and/or education providing equivalent knowledge and skills may be substituted for education credentials if appropriate.
  • Minimum four years (4) of maintenance related experience including knowledge of facilities management. Prior experience managing third party facility related subcontracts preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with at least two (2) years in a supervisory supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Strong oral, reading and writing abilities in both Spanish and English.
  • Ability to write reports, present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to establish, develop and implement maintenance procedures and programs designed to ensure an efficient, safe and cost-effective facilities maintenance department.
  • Knowledge in all of ACI-Herzog’s administrative, safety, and training policies, procedures, rules, and governmental regulations applicable to the fixed facilities division.
  • Ability to respond adequately to emergency situations and initiates appropriate remedial actions as required by supporting safe and efficient operations.
  • Ability to perform audits to verify system readiness and support facility planning requirements.
  • Ability to formulate and coordinate program specifications, requirements for proposals and subcontracts, and associated documents.
  • Knowledge in the preparation, monitoring and control of the annual operating budget for facilities, prioritizing resource expenditures, overtime allocation and employee availability.
  • Required to be on call to address service needs 24/7 per week basis.
