Fixed Facilities Technician
SUMMARY
We would like to announce the recent opening Fixed Facilities Technicianin the Fixed Facilities Department.
To apply you must meet the following qualifications:
Two years of experience in the diagnosis, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, but not limited, of the following systems or equipment:
- Plumbing
- Pumps
- Rolling Doors
- Electrical Systems
- HVAC
- Elevators & Escalators
- Generators
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year accredited college or technical school ant at least two years of related work experience.
Ability to speak, read and write both Spanish and English in a work setting, ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintaining instruction, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Program, for example Word, Excel, etc.
Possession of a valid driver’s license in the appropriate class and any other certificates, licenses and registrations as required by law to perform the specified functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
