Celebrating One Year of O&M on the A Line
During its first year of operation, Denver’s University of Colorado A Line served more than 5 million passengers, provided over 52,000 train trips, and travelled more than 1.2 million miles, according to data published by the Regional Transit District. In addition, the line has exceeded the 90% standard for on-time performance since the start of 2017. The agency celebrated the one-year anniversary by handing out coffee and donuts at Denver Union Station, Peoria and Denver International Airport stations.
On April 22, 2016, Denver Transit Operators commenced revenue service on the 23-mile long A Line. Service runs every 15 minutes, providing connections between downtown Denver, DIA, and many communities along I-70 corridor.
